Our partnership with Pastor Brino is well established over many years. Working in northern Malawi, Brino is passionate about Gospel ministry, reaching out with the Good News and teaching believers for their spiritual maturity.

Brino is the Pastor of Christlike Baptist in the city of Mzuzu. In addition to local church ministry, he also works in partnership with other local church leaders and has developed a strong network of ministry colleagues. He uses this network to promote biblical formation through conferences and teaching events designed to equip both leaders and church members alike.

Desiring to see the current generation supported and enabled to respond to God’s call upon their lives, Pastor Brino offers leadership training events and seminars seeking to instil biblical principles in those charged with pastoral responsibilities. With a view towards the next generation, Brino is also involved in mentor support for the leaders of tomorrow, discipling young men whose leadership journeys are only just beginning.

An LMI ministry team worked in-person with Brino for a programme of Bible teaching in 2025 and witnessed first-hand the commitment and zeal which motivates him.

Bible Conferences. We see great value in gathering people together for time spent in the Word of God. Those attending the Bible Conferences receive encouragement from the Scriptures and the blessing of Christian fellowship with one another. We want to support these events through sponsorship, recognising the positive impact they are having.

Leadership Development. Working to support and strengthen church leaders is a strategic investment which not only helps the individual leader, but also the church fellowship they have been given responsibility to care for. We recognise the importance of this work for today and tomorrow and our aim is to sponsor leadership events in different cities.

LMI Ministry Teams. Pastor Brino has issued an open invitation for future LMI Ministry Teams to stand side by side with him in support of his bible teaching strategy. We want to take up this challenge and build upon what has been achieved so far, through the sending of others to work with Brino in the future also.

The prayers and financial involvement of supporters is vital for the work of LMI’s Global Partnerships. Helping Brino and those he works with to offer biblical teaching and leadership support is essential, especially when church life and Christian development can be challenged by false teaching and prosperity influences causing great harm.
