On International Youth Day, we’re thankful to God for all the amazing young people we meet and engage with in secondary schools, church and youth groups, and at major events across the province! 👏🏻🙂

During lockdown, our Youth & Schools Outreach (YSO) Team have created two brand new programmes they hope to use during the forthcoming academic year (Lord willing).

LMI's Lucy Paisley and school pupils taking part in a Youth and Schools Outreach programme.

LMI's Alan Dourish introducing Dr Tin at a school assembly for the Youth and Schools Outreach.   LMI's Lucy Paisley and a school pupil taking part in a Youth and Schools Outreach programme.

LMI's Danny Roberts taking an RE class for the Youth and Schools Outreach.   LMI's Becky Watson presenting a programme for the Youth and Schools Outreach.

SOAP, which stands for Scripture, Observation, Application and Prayer, will teach young people how to study the Bible in a manner that will benefit them and help them to edify others. And a new RE programme called ‘Extraordinary’ explores how God’s hand can completely change our lives, with a particular focus on Abraham and Ruth. The YSO team have also used this time to update their existing programmes, which cover a wide variety of Biblical topics.

LMI's Catalin presenting a programme for the Youth and Schools Outreach.

School pupils participating in a programme for LMI's Youth and Schools Outreach.  LMI's Alison Kernohan taking a Youth and Schools Outreach programme.

LMI's Lucy Paisley taking a Youth and Schools Outreach programme.   LMI's Alan Dourish and Kenyan Coordinator Pastor Eric at a youth event.

It’s a real privilege to work with young people as we seek to inspire them to examine the Christian faith through relevant, modern and engaging programmes 🖥✝️
