N - NEW. ‘The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are NEW every morning, great is your faithfulness.’  - Lamentations 3:22–23 

When we go for a walk this week we will see evidence of new life around us. The Lord sends us the seasons and all the wonderful array of beauty that accompany them. No matter what the season is, we enjoy the spiritual blessings of God as we follow Him daily. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

His love is eternal, his mercies never ending, in fact they are new every morning! No-one or nothing will ever satisfy like the blessings of knowing The Lord. He is our Saviour and Sustainer. God is never in lockdown! 

 

1. Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father 

There is no shadow of turning with thee 

Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not 

As thou hast been Thou forever wilt be 

Great is thy faithfulness, great is Thy faithfulness 

Morning by morning new mercies I see 

All I have needed Thy hand hath provided 

Great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me 

 

2. Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest 

Sun, moon and stars in their courses above 

Join with all nature in manifold witness 

To thy great faithfulness, mercy and love 

 

3.Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth 

Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide 

Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow 

Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside
