LMI's 'A word for your week' devotional series taken from the word 'Lockdown'.

We hope you enjoyed our recent ‘A Word For Your Week’ posts, as we sought to bring the truth of God’s Word to bear on the letters in ‘lockdown’, remembering that The Lord is still working and is never locked down! 🔓🙌🏻🙂

All of the Bible verses and passages we used are listed below, along with the letter they accompanied. Keep watching this space, however, as we begin our next word this Monday, and that word is ‘Easter’ ✝️🌅

📖 L: Look to Jesus – “Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God and there is no other.” Isaiah 45:22
📖O: Omniscient – “Great is our Lord, and abundant in power, his understanding is beyond measure.” Psalm 147:5
📖C: Come to Jesus – “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
📖K: Know that The Lord, He is God! – “Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!

Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!
For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” Psalm 100

📖D: Do Not Be Anxious – “… do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
📖O: Omnipresent – “Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence?

If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!

If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.
📖 W: Wait – “Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” Psalm 27:14
📖 N: New – “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23
