El ELOHIM

Our God is the one and only all Powerful Creator.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

It is amazing that during the days of creation God spoke; and a beautiful world was created for us to enjoy. Genesis 1:1-3

Day 1 Day and night

Day 2 Sky (separate from the water)

Day 3 Seas, Dry land, Plants and Trees

Day 4 Sun, Moon and Stars

Day 5 Creatures of the Sea and birds

Day 6 Animals, Man and Woman

Day 7 God rested and blessed the seventh day

God made the creatures, the birds, and the animals after their own kind. Genesis 1:26 Then God said, ‘Let is make man in our image, in the image of God He created him; male and female he created them.’

Let us give thanks to God for life itself, it is a gift that God gives to us day by day. Life is precious before birth, as the Bible tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Equally, life is precious in old age, when for various health reasons, we may not be able to fully embrace each day. God made the living creatures in their own species. We are made male and female, with a living soul, after the image of God. How special is that! Sadly, just as sin marred God’s creation at the beginning of time, today there are many who seek to destroy the sanctity of life.

Let us be living testimonies to God’s power in our lives until He calls us home to be with Him for evermore.

God who made the earth

The air, the sky, the sea,

who gave the light its birth,

careth for me.

God who made the grass,

The flow’r, the fruit, the tree,

The day and night to pass,

careth for me

God who made the sun,

The moon, the stars, is he

Who, when life’s clouds come on,

careth for me.

God who sent his Son

To die on Calvary,

He if I lean on him,

Will care for me.
