We want to place on record massive congratulations and heartfelt thanks to the group who took on and triumphed over the ‘Mourne Seven Sevens Challenge’ on Saturday to raise funds for LMI’s Youth & Schools Outreach (YSO) Department – Danny, Faith, Scott, Amy, David, Stephen, Dale and Aaron! 👏🏻⛰❤️😀.

It took them approximately 14 hours to ascend and descend all seven mountaintops, a truly tremendous display of determination and perseverance 💪🏻🏅(and one they won’t be in a rush to repeat, we imagine! 🥵😄).

Saturday is fast approaching and LMI’s Youth and Schools Outreach Team are poised and ready to ‘smash’ their ‘Mourne Seven Sevens Challenge’!⛰.
 
A lot of practical and physical preparation has gone into this event, which will see Danny and Lucy – along with some wonderful volunteers, including David and Amy from @milo – climbing the seven highest peaks over 700m in the famous Mourne mountain range. The trek covers more than 18 miles and includes a vertical assent of 8100ft! 🥾🥵.

Danny Roberts and Lucy McAllister are making their final school visit of the current academic year today - awwww… ☹️ - but what a year, hallelujah! 🙌🏻🏫🚐😀.

Our Youth & Schools Outreach (YSO) Team have travelled ‘far and wide’, speaking to thousands of young people in secondary schools and churches about the Christian faith.
