YSO Team lead Junior and Senior SU groups in Movilla High

Danny Roberts and Lucy McAllister from the LMI Youth and Schools Outreach team have really enjoyed their visits to Movilla High School, where they have been leading pupils in the Junior and Senior SU groups through ‘Choose Wisely’, a programme about the importance of thinking carefully about choices we make - especially big ones - and basing them on God’s word 🏫🙂.

As they visit the school once again this afternoon to complete the programme, they would be very grateful for your prayers.

Continuing our Easter devotional series, Lorna Wilkinson is zooming in on the letter ‘A’ this week, as she considers a short word but a word full of depth and eternal importance – Advocate 📖💬.

“My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous” 1 John 2:1-2 (ESV)

In legal terms, an advocate is a person who is professionally qualified to plead the cause of another in a court of law.

YSO Team attend Ballygowan Presbyterian Church Café event

On Sunday, Danny Roberts and Lucy McAllister were thrilled to meet everyone at Ballygowan Presbyterian Church, as they joined with the congregation for their monthly Café Church event ⛪️💬.

Danny shared his testimony - a wonderful story of God’s grace in the life of a young man in Liverpool - before providing an update about his and Lucy’s work in LMI’s Youth & Schools Outreach Department.

Easter Devotional Series - Saviour

As Easter appears on the horizon, Lorna Wilkinson wants to help us focus our minds on Jesus through a devotional series on the word at the very centre of the commemoration and celebration – Saviour ❤️✝️.

Banners are a popular feature on birthday cakes these days, signifying the special nature of the occasion. If a banner was displayed between the end of the Old Testament and the beginning of the New Testament, surely the word ‘SAVIOUR’ would be on it!
