Mission Awareness Team visit Whitehead Congregational Church

Thomas McClean and Alan Dourish took part in LMI’s first Mission Awareness Programme of 2022 yesterday, when they met with the wonderful members of Whitehead Congregational Church ⛪️.
 
Focusing on the Great Commission text from Matthew 28:16-20, Thomas – who celebrates 45 years of missionary service this year – gave a presentation about the work of LMI, before speaking passionately about the unfinished task Christians face in reaching the world with the Gospel 📖💬.

Amidst the celebrations of the Saviour coming into the world, there were those who had no room for the Lord Jesus, not simply in relation to the manger where He was born, but, much more importantly, in their lives. Indeed, not even the king of the land, Herod the Great, welcomed this new arrival - “When Herod the king heard this [about Jesus’ birth], he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him” (Matthew 2:3).
