As widespread misery caused by the economic impact of the pandemic continues to impact these nations, LMIā€™s representatives are ensuring *food parcels are reaching people in need, providing them with practical help and hope at a time of crisis.

Jehovah NissiĀ - The Lord is My Banner.

ā€œYou prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows." - Psalm 23 v4Ā 

Sometimes when the shepherd was taking the sheep back over the hills to the sheepfold, he stopped at a flat place called a table. This allowed the sheep to graze and rest on their journey. He provided food for them and kept them safe from enemies.

Bangor Worldwide Missionary Convention 2021 Update

LMI are looking forward to attending the Bangor Worldwide Missionary Convention 2021.

Bangor Worldwide Missionary ConventionĀ 2021 is 'just around the corner', with the first event taking place in less than three weeksā€™ time!

On the opening day - Saturday 21st August - both sessions (afternoon and evening) have moved to Hamilton Road Presbyterian ChurchĀ in Bangor. The organising committee apologise for any inconvenience, but due to current restrictions, they can no longer hold these events in The Spires Conference Centre in Belfast as originally hoped.

On Sunday, Danny Roberts rose to preach at Stanley Park Church in Liverpool, but this visit was different from many that have gone before. This time, he rose to preach from the same pulpit where, 15 years earlier, he had delivered his very first sermon! šŸ“–šŸ˜ƒ

Previously meeting in a smaller part of their premises, a significant growth in attendance, following months of passionate work during the pandemic, has encouraged the church to return to their main building, where this photo was taken and where Danny first preached in 2006.

A woman of many talents, Lucy McAllister is currently editing LMIā€™s new video teaching course on the life of the Apostle Paul, which will become part of the Leadership Study Programme within our Bible Teaching Ministry šŸŽ„šŸ™‹šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø.

This course, which was written by one of LMIā€™s Bible teachers, JF, explores Paulā€™s dependence on God for all aspects of his ministry, including his approach to teamwork and developing others, his integrity, and the suffering he endured.
