Danny Roberts virtually speaks at Hope Community Church in Aintree

Danny Roberts was back among his fellow Liverpudlians last week (albeit virtually), when he spoke to the members of Hope Community Church in Aintree during their midweek meeting 💬🙂

After updating everyone about the ongoing work of LMI, including his own endeavours as a member of our Youth & Schools Outreach Team, Danny provided points for people to use as they spent time together in prayer 🙏🏻.

LMI leadership training session in Bujumbura, Burundi

Logos Ministries International (LMI) are delighted to have received images of an LMI leadership training session, which took place at the Philadelphia Church International in Bujumbura, Burundi, on 11th June 🇧🇮🙂.
 
Led by our very hard-working Bible Teaching Ministry Representative there, Aloys Nduwindavyi (pictured in a striped shirt), the session including teaching, group discussions and a time for reflection 💬🤔.

Abraham’s faith in God was severely tested when God told him to offer his son Isaac to Him as a burnt offering. Having waited for twenty- five years for the fulfilment of Isaac’s birth as an heir to a great kingdom, Abraham must have had many questions in his mind, yet he obeyed God.  

On the way up the mountain Isaac asked ‘where is the lamb for a burnt offering?’ verse 7

LMI providing Essential aid support in Pakistan

LMI is continuing to provide essential support through our Overseas Ministry Programme. Pakistan is suffering during a second-wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Providing multivitamins and nutritional supplements for female church members in Pakistan is just one way in which funds from LMI have been used to deliver essential support during a second wave of the pandemic there.

Aid efforts, organised and lead by Rev Raja Samuel, LMI’s Bible Teaching Representative for Pakistan, have also included food parcel distribution to individuals and families facing severe hardship due to lockdown.

LMI food support efforts continuing in Chennai, India

LMI is continuing to support food distribution efforts in Chennai, India through our Overseas Ministry Programme. At this time, India is encountering severe hardship and suffering during a second-wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
LMI is continuing to support efforts to alleviate hunger and suffering amongst people in India following a major second wave of the pandemic there.

These photos, which were taken on 7th June, show colleagues of LMI’s Coordinator for Chennai distributing food parcels to homeless people and individuals in need.

Already facing a very difficult situation, their hardship has only increased as the nation struggles to cope.
