In Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), our Bible Teaching Ministry Representative, Pastor James Wheagar, is continuing to provide discipleship classes using LMI’s French Dynamics of Discipleship materials.
In recent days, Pastor Wheagar launched another discipleship group in the city of Zuenoula, the fourth location for this training in the nation.
By all accounts, he is delighted with the progress students are making as they study the eight-part course together and deepen their understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ.

K -Know that the Lord, he is God!
This Psalm exhorts all the earth to give thanks to The Lord. Some may find it difficult to do that in these testing times.
In Old Testament times people had to sacrifice a lamb to atone for their sins. Today we bring our lives as a living sacrifice because Jesus the lamb of God made the perfect sacrifice for us. He died so that we can live forever by repenting and trusting in His finished work on Calvary and His Resurrection from the dead.

At LMI prayer time this afternoon, Danny Roberts opened up God’s Word for us (Psalm 34); we praised the Lord for continuing to use the ministry at this time, and sought His help in all our upcoming endeavours; and we prayed for each other and for you - our supporters, friends and ministry partners 🙏🏻🙂
Times of coming together before our Heavenly Father at the throne of grace are so important and provide comfort and refreshment.

In Kenya, Pastor Eric Ngala and his colleagues resumed classes for the LMI Bible Teaching Hub last Friday, when they revised the topic of ‘Church’🇰🇪.
Pastor Eric (in the red shirt) spoke on the practical issues that face the church as the Body of Christ. Pastor Juma (orange and black shirt) shared with students from the Word of God, and Pastor James Omemo (blue and white shirt) encouraged those present to take their studies seriously so that they can truly help the church of Christ.

C - ‘Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.’
The religious leaders wanted the people to do things their way, refusing to accept Jesus as the Son of God. King Herod had put John the Baptist in prison because he did not like being confronted about his sin.
The Lord Jesus gives the invitation for individuals who are burdened by sin and even religion, to come to Him. Come to Christ who alone can set you free from the bondage of sin and religious rules which weigh you down.
