Getting to know Molly
History & Interests
During her career, Molly Graham worked as a nurse in various capacities and locations across Northern Ireland. She also served the Lord locally in various ways, and further afield in the Republic of Ireland and Peru as a missionary. She is originally from Belfast and that is where she lives today.
It was in 2000 that Molly first heard about LMI at Moira Missionary Convention. Thomas McClean, LMI’s Co-founder and Director, was talking about how the mission needed a tutor for the Bible Teaching Ministry (BTM). Having been to Bible College, and with her experience in the mission field, Molly felt she could help the mission by volunteering for this role; she has been a vital part of the LMI team ever since!
As a BTM tutor, Molly is responsible for marking the coursework submitted by the students, who come from many different nations across Africa and Asia. Her involvement in this ministry has been an incredible blessing to the mission, and it has also been a blessing for Molly as well. When we asked her what the most rewarding aspect of her work was, she said it was, “the sense of being a link in the chain of seeing believers built up in their faith. I am able to pray for them in their respective countries, and they in turn are leading others to Christ.”
Through her many years of service, many students have benefitted from Molly’s input and feedback. Indeed, her heart for the students, and passion to see them grow in their faith, is evident from the moment you meet her.
Favourite Bible Verse
My favourite verse is Isaiah 41:10: “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee: yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness”.
