Ministry Summary 

The scope of LMI is reflected in our four main areas of work: 

• Bible Teaching Ministry – Christians around the world are being trained to be effective disciples and leaders equipped through our distance learning courses. 

• Mission Awareness Programme – We seek to motivate people to be active in world mission. 

• Youth and Schools Outreach – Impacting young people in schools and churches with the message and relevance of Christianity. 

• Overseas Ministry Programme – Assisting indigenous people practically and spiritually through partnerships with local churches and ministries.

Our Purposes 

The purposes of LMI are what drive the four aspects of our work mentioned above. They are: 

(a) To motivate Christians to be involved with world missions. 

(b) To educate young people as to the relevance of the Christian faith. 

(c) To assist in the spiritual growth of believers worldwide. 

(d) To equip Christian leaders to serve the Church. 

(e) To evangelise children or young people with the gospel. 

(f) To assist indigenous churches with evangelistic outreaches or church ministry. 

(g) To facilitate the spread of the gospel by financially supporting partnership ministries. 

(h) To provide financial assistance to people in need who are suffering from financial hardship, persecution, or natural disaster.
