Youth and Schools team visit Rathfriland High School

Danny Roberts and Lucy McAllister are back on the road today, travelling to Rathfriland High School! 🙂 There, they will meet with the SU Group to undertake part one of our ‘Kingdom Stories’ programme, exploring the story of The Prodigal Son 💬📖.

Lord willing, the duo will then return to Rathfriland in a fortnight’s time for part two of the programme, which looks at the story of The Good Samaritan 🏥.

LMI Team attend Shine 2021 Annual Prayer Event

Danny Roberts, Lucy McAllister and Alan Dourish were delighted to represent LMI at the annual Shine prayer event yesterday morning.

After a difficult period across the UK and Ireland, there is much excitement around SHINE this year, and it was wonderful to bring the event before God to seek His blessing and help.

If you know of any teacher, SU group or minister/youth group who would be interested in Shine, please share the website with them - www.shineinschools.com 💡🙂.

SHINE Online Event on Friday 26th November

Young People, Pupils, Teachers, Youth leaders – lend us your ears! (Well, not so much your ears as your eyes and interest 👀😀)

If you are in Northern Ireland, there is a special Shine online event taking place on Friday 26th November (two weeks from today). Part of SHINE is about equipping young Christians to live for Jesus at school. We want this event to inspire and help everyone to do just that, by meeting online to share stories and to encourage each other.

Prayer request for flood ravaged India

We have received a prayer request from LMI’s Coordinator for Chennai, India, where serious flooding is causing widespread suffering.

In his words, “For the past one week we have had severe non-stop rain… Most of the dams in South India have been opened because they reached their full capacity. Many churches and pastors were affected due to the heavy flood… Most pastors and believers lost their homes and there is heavy scarcity for food and water. There has been no electricity for the past 5 days.”
